UI design course, Coursera

California Institute of the Arts: Visual Elements of User Interface Design

This year in February I went ahead and started a small Coursera project on UI design, and wanted to post my related projects here. It was a fun way to practice UI design and see the tutorial videos and how they were phrased and structured. Also, I liked the idea that it was interactive, any content I posted was reviewed by at least two fellow students, and I also had to review other students’ work.

The tasks were related to a small app that you had to invent and describe, by first creating an introduction and moodboard about the project. Then you had to create a small pattern library and some concepts for displaying these elements. It would be great to work on a similar project in the future and see how spending more time on each task would result in more refined details and a more complete design system for the given task.
