The old website
Working with Lumiere’s creative team was a dream project with one challenge: speed. Their old website underutilized their extensive image archive, so we immediately focused on showcasing their visual richness.
I designed around the cinema experience—darkness punctuated by light from imagery. Director András Salamon requested inspiration from their partner site alfarental.hu, which I reinterpreted to create something distinct while honoring that aesthetic.
Content development was fully collaborative, moving through multiple drafts to capture the school’s authentic voice. Built in Breakdance for WordPress due to technical constraints, the project succeeded in creating a platform I’m genuinely proud of—and opened the door to collaborating with this talented team on a documentary about my father.
